For Boys will be in theaters nationwide on October 18, 2024.

The team directed by Nils-Erik Ekblom (Screwed 2018) dives into shocking and intimate themes in the film For Boys. Actors Mika Melender and Jussi Award nominee Janne Puustinen, who are known for the film A Moment In The Reeds (2018), draw the viewer into a surreal whirlpool of desire, dreams, and lies, into which their characters Mikael and Paul are sinking. Valtteri Lehtinen from Screwed (2018) fame joins the cast as Mikael’s enigmatic ex lover.

In the story, Mikael, who is seriously ill, lures young men to his apartment and is forced to confront the ghosts of his past when Paul shows unexpected affection towards him. For Boys takes the viewer through landscapes of erotic taboos and spirituality, offering a deep exploration of age, beauty, and desire.
